I have the bare-bones edition of the DVD. If there was EVER a movie that needed a Special Edition with commentary tracks, interviews, and other bits of goodness (like me and Knurkel debating whether or not a Michael Jackson type really could beat a Bootsy Collins type in a kung fu battle), it's Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon.
Hell, why that's never been done is beyond me. It's not like the cast has anything better to do. ill roll with that... and vanity wont be teaching no moves anytime soon. shes a preacher now...

But if you put Michael up against Bootsy in a fight, Bootsy kicks his ass every time. You KNOW that Michael gets a contact high just being near Bootsy! And Mikey's skin would soak up whatever hallucinogens Bootsy had taken - after a few punches, Mike's out of the fight. So it is in music, so it is in kung fu, so it is with Michael vs Bootsy or their clones.

Okay, let's say Jackson at his peak (1982) versus Bootsy Collins at his (1976, methinks). Now I'll admit that Mike has speed and quickness on his side. But Bootsy has size and power (being a bassist), plus a constant cloud of smoke around him. Bootsy's on enough drugs to choke a Kennedy, so pain is no issue. I say Mike gets a good amount of shots in, but the weed smoke slows him down. A few shots later (Bootsy thinks he's fighting Sir Nose D'Voidoffunk ), Mike's out.

I watched "Adventures of Tintin: The Calculus Affair", originally a TV-series from 1961 edited as a 51 minutes long movie. Haven't seen it since it went on TV back in the 80's. Fun and a good nostalgic moment but I miss the cliff-hangers, despite it would be silly every ten minutes.
