Uh, the chats and IM chats make the boards slightly more fun 'cause one has a better idea about the actual person behind the posts. i'll have sneaky make one and start a thread for it. then i'll post about that, here. and ... i dunno, maybe eventually make a neato graphic or some shit for it. somethin. Maybe we should have some journalist member compose something for new members. A sort-of "get to know the rkmbs" wank-fest. Maybe with links to the Random Interviews. Something to make the boards more accessible to the outside public so some of them might actually sign up. mayhaps. might be a bit of a boring read, though. "meet rex, he's gay. meet g-man, he's really gay. meet uschi, she has a cock that is likely gay. jeremy knows for sure, because he's gay." Speaking of, who was the last new member we didn't scare away? I'm remembering Pagliacci, PCgay, whatever... but he killed himself or something. While it's fun to have a tight-knit group of asshats to call "internet-friends," it is also fun to play with new fish. I have the feeling we might be about as accessible as 4chan, with so many inside jokes nobody outside can make head or tails of the writing. i'd love to get a buncha new people to post here. always have. the problem with that, really, is that sorta the "charm" here is being an asshole and shitting on other people. especially new people. its not exactly the most welcoming approach. then again, it helps try to ensure that the people who do stick around can hold their own (  ) . thats how most or all of you started out. i'm not exactly sure what the best solution to that is, then. i just wanted to use that beavis graemlin.

I think that posting here is kinda cyclical - for the most part it seems that people get caught up in dealing with what's going on in their own lives and sometimes don't have as much time to post as usual, but come back when they can. As has been mentioned before, it can be hard to break in here what with all the inside jokes. It also seems that where once this was very fun/flirty/jokey/lighthearted place it has become a bit more snarky which could be a turn off for new and old users alike.
