Superman's face looked kinda goofy and it didn't follow the story exactly (of course, it wasn't trying to get you to buy comic books about four different "Supermen" the next month) but I enjoyed watching it.
If nothing else, it made Superman Returns look like crap.
Oh, wait. Superman Returns did that.
