my problem with this and considering the accompanying documentary and ad campaign which suggests it, it'll lead non-fanboys to assume that THIS was the story of the Death of Superman, which just isn't so.
i don't see why that'd be so bad -- or how it would be any different from the impression given to fans by, say, the chris reeve superman films or bale batman.
its not 100% accurate to the comics, but its pretty close.
