watched my cousin play god of war 2 today. damn that game is vicious...

As I finished The Darkness last week, Transformers is not exactly an "indepth" type game and I want a rest from Splinter Cell, I picked up The elder scrolls IV:Oblivion.
Now if World of Warcraft was like this, I woulda enjoyed it more!

I haven't played Oblivion but I heard its basically a single player version of World of Warcraft. It is similar to WOW except the fighting isnt a matter of just clicking buttons, its more like normal fighting games!

I'm picking up Oblivion soon. Sean Bean is in it. I wouldnt say Transformers was hard per se, but it can get annoying sometimes if you are in the wrong position (ie, there is no debris or cars near you to throw at an enemy that you need to hit with an item before you can get near them). Oblivion on the other hand, was a big mistake! How the fuck am I sposed to have a real life when I cant put a game down?

Most games are pretty hard for me. I still don't understand how I kick everyone's ass at Halo.

So........
I was already to cancel my World of Warcraft account until the other day when I joined the 1up.com guild. Now I'm playing with some of the Games for Windows and 1up.com editors along with some video game developers. Tonight I was questing with a guy from Factor Five. Fucking awesome.
This is the most fun I've had playing a game in a long time.

i think one of the best parts to halo 3 is being able to watch your fights after youre done. We had a hilarious time just watching the replay of trying to kill eachother...

Just got the Beyond the Sword expansion for Civ 4. I've been hearing great things about that expansion pack, with some reviews saying its better than the original game. Looked it up on steam today and its $75 for the complete game. I think I'll wait till the $40 everything in one box set.

During all the major holidays you can get different pets in World of Warcraft. For Halloween you get this:  Its called a wolpertinger, basically a jackalope with wings. To get it you have to get really drunk and catch bugs that are invisible to anyone sober. It might be one of the coolest things I've ever seen in the game.
