I saw the first six minutes of Batman.

And it was ridiculously awesome!

I have absolutely zero misgivings about the make up look now - the moment that Ledger takes off the clown mask and you see the scarred make up wearing Joker beneath is

Creepy. As. Fuck.

As two of the henchmen say:

"I hear he wears make up."

"Make up?"

"Y'know - like war paint."


And it kinda is. This isn't Nicholson's forced smiling Joker. It's a scarred, smart and scary fucker who believes that "What doesn't kill you makes you stranger." And he says it like he's handing out some fun advice to a friend while he stuffs a grenade in a guy's mouth.

It's exactly what the review in the link G provided before states. Fantastic opening bank robbery, and at the Joker reveal the audience lost its fucking mind. Uschi you are gonna want to marry this Joker.

I can't fucking wait to see this movie.




i hate all of you who got to see this. but yeah this movie cant get here fast enough...

And, to be fair, one of my favorite friends there is blind and I take every opportunity available to make fun of that and we're still friends. That guy never fit there. He never got the spirit of the RKMBs. We're gonna keep an eye on the obits, see if he finally left or if he really did have a heart attack.
