I would hate to see the tigers go, but as long as the largest country on earth is made up of people who think killing them has medicinal value, the odds of them surviving in the wild is, at best, slim.

As near as I can tell, the Chinese government is trying to hold the big cats for ransom, saying they will stop letting their people hunt and eat them, if we pay them. Unfortunately, ransom schemes never work. And the Chinese government is untrustworthy to begin with. Look at the way they allow lead in our toys, pesticides in our food and pet fur on our clothing.

Does anyone here think they wouldn't just take the money and still allow the tigers to be killed?
