Punisher #6 (Marvel Knights Ennis Run)
Frank is trying to track a former friend who saved his life in ‘Nam. The guy went psycho after his wife took the kids and left… he starting killing folk…..through out the issue Castle is giving commentary about New York talking about how in the city no one will catch you when you fall…and nobody seems to care about what you’ve done good…
At the end he finds him on a bridge in the rain…..Frank shoots him and the guy falls in his arms….he just looks at him and says…”it’s ok…I caught you” It is probably the best Punisher I’ve ever read. The line really moved me.
