Mary-Kate Olsen has finally surfaced, but she still won't answer questions about the death of boyfriend Heath Ledger and why she was called before cops about the "Brokeback Mountain" star's apparent drug overdose.
Olsen, 21, flew from JFK Airport late Sunday afternoon, and landed at 9 p.m. (PST) at Los Angeles International Airport, where a photographer snapped the first images of the pint-size actress since Ledger was found dead in his Manhattan apartment two weeks ago.
Dressed in her trademark sloppy, oversized clothes, sunglasses and fedora, Olsen was greeted by bodyguards who escorted the former "Full House" star as she skulked out of the terminal.
It was not known if the guards - who whined without success to a cop about the photographer's presence - were among those whom Olsen suspiciously dispatched to Ledger's SoHo apartment Jan. 22 after a masseuse called her to say the 28-year-old actor was unresponsive.
Olsen spent yesterday huddled in her LA pad, keeping out of sight.
