Supposedly, one of the reasons he hung on as long as he did was that Mrs Spitzer tried to talk him out of resigning. If that's the case I have no sympathy for her.
The ones I really feel sorry for are his kids. The are all teenagers and obviously old enough to understand just how creepy and kinky this was. They're the ones he really humiliated with this stunt.
