I'm irish. mostly. and I don't celebrate it. because I'm not catholic. the vast majority of those in this country who celebrated today had no clue as to the varying significance of st. patrick's day among the respective factions within the irish people. I will cut soapbox time short because I forget when the hell orangemen's day is, which wouldn't make me a very good irish protestant either.
