My brother is watching the whole series on abc.com and he's enjoying it. Its one of those shows where its better on DVD. It gets hard remembering what happened to who and when after a while.

I enjoyed season one of LOST. Season 2 wasn't nearly as quality. Season 3 gets going again after a bit. So far I have watched the first 12 episodes and my feelings are mixed. At first it annoyed me with some of the cliched US tv characters, but after a while certain characters stand out more than others (I like Charlie, Locke and Sawyer). I love the intrigue on the island, but I do think the back stories/flashbacks tend to drag on longer than necessary (I think some of the footage has been added into the DVD release). I'm hoping there is more of the present day stuff and less of the past as the series progresses!

I think those characters are the least cliched, and seem to have more depth.
The others seem to fit generic criteria for shows like this.
I do like Sayid as well, just but I think its a risky move to have an Iraqi character in a US based show right now, and the fact they have used an Indian actor, just shows how little some people know about the difference between Indians and Iraqis etc.
I also find it strange that on a flight from Australia, there was only one Australian on the plane!
Still, these are only minor flaws!

I know he is English by birth/nationality, but his family are Indian!
He is in no way, shape or form an Iraqi or any other Arabic nationality!
I have worked with enough Indians and Muslims to know they are nothing alike.
