I think I speak for most of the people here when I tell you that we won't care. Some of you will join up and post interesting threads and comments (Sikkbones, for example, in the Comics Forum) or join in the bashing that was going on long before someone got butt-hurt about an alt named "whomod's daughter." Those people will be welcomed. Some of you will continue this laughable "raid" in its current spirit (Halotard and Killer, for example) and continue to get slapped around until they've either had enough and leave or smarten up. In those two's cases, I suspect the former. The rest of you will just kinda fade away. That's how things work here. And we have absolute freedom to post what we want and say what we want. You have rules that restrict freedom of speech and expression. Funny that you rail against the Republicans who've restricted our basic rights while doing the same on your own board - doesn't that strike you as hypocritical? And I say that as a politically apathetic person.
In the end, you'll stay for a month or leave within a week. You'll become permanent members or fade away. This "raid" will continue or it'll end. And none of it matters because it's a message board - unimportant as anything but a way to kill time and have fun. I'm enjoying myself. Aren't you?
And let me point out that I'm addressing you the way I see you as addressing me. You come here, make some points, and I respond to you. Sikkbones comes here, takes some really funny shots, and I return them. Then he posts some interesting threads and I respond to them. Halotard and Killer come here spouting off like a couple of morons, and they get proverbially slapped around by damned near everyone, including people (PCG, Rex, Snarf, for example) who get goofed on relentlessly by the rest of us. What you bring here is what you get. The sad thing about the Insurgency forum is that I actually plan to sign up there, if only to see what you people are "really" like (I've been invited by both Iggy and Sikkbones, by the way). But restrictions on what I can and can't post make that idea far less attractive. Of course, Halotard will try to spin that as "HE'S SCARED!!!" but you and Sikkbones and Iggy and other seemingly level-headed posters have read enough of my posts to know that Halo's threats don't faze me. I just know that I'll arrive, he'll shoot off at the mouth, I'll slap him down, and one of the same admins that locked the forums before you started arriving will ban me. And where's the fun in that? I can do all that here with no thought of banning.
