It was the intelligence, not Bush, that was wrong on that. The same intelligence that Clinton, Kerry, and even John Rockefeller said was true prior to the Bush administration taking office. I'll admit that al Quiada wasn't involved with Iraq as long as you also admit that terrorist training camps were in fact discovered in Iraq.

As for your terrorist camps found in Iraq, you're referring to the Ansar al-Islam guerrillas WHO HAD CAMPS IN THE NORTHERN NO-FLY ZONE under our control and clearly away from Sadaam Hussein's control. These people were his enemies, not allies. These are the sorts of idiot talking points that the right likes to use to justify their continued head in the sand mentality. Y'know, when pressed against the wall for candor, the Administration has had to admit that there was no relationship between Al queda and Sadaam but apparently that still isn't enough to keep these kinds of rationalizations from surfacing and resurfacing from people who want to cling to justification for why we're there.

Now I re-posted the Richard Clark interview again because that man impresses me. he's an honorable man which the Administration had no problem slandering when he stepped out and informed us of some of the deception going on. And yeah, Scott McLellan slandered him in public. He's human like the rest of us and he did in fact take some measure of glee when the White House was slandering McLellan in kind when he too had enough. But he was big enough t accept McLellan asking him for his forgiveness. As I've said, the ones who're putting out the 400,000 number are using methods that are really just knocking on doors and asking people how many people have died. The numbers I've put out are made by confirmed deaths using Iraqi morgues and death certificates. Not 100% accurate, but more accurate than 400,000.

No, I'm talking about camps like the one found in Salman Pak (about 20 miles south of Baghdad) that were being run by some in Saddam's own elite army corps. You know, the ones that Saddam's military claimed was for anti-terrorism training of their own soldiers when, in fact, most at the camp were terrorists from other nations being trained in such things as airplane hijackings.

No, I've just felt that Saddam should have been taken out in the 90's, and the fact that Bush Sr. didn't do it or fully support the rebels to do so was a big failing of his administration.

I'm not a Republican. I do hold many conservative views, but a lot of them are due to different belief than those of the Republican party. We may believe in the same on the overall issue, but the reasoning for such is different. Honestly, I'd be happy if both the Democratic and Republican parties vanished from the political landscape. Honestly, you can't see the big difference in 4,000 dead and 400,000 dead?
