Carl the Neighbor, from the Adult Swim show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force

 -

Why? Because I get the stinking feeling that I'm gonna turn into Carl in about 10 years. just...without the Jersey accent.

Favorite Carl moments:

In his yard, attaching purple neon border lights around his swimming pool, after painting orange flames on it:
"Oh man...would ya lookit dat. It looks like my pool's about to go cruisin' aroun' my back yard...sweet!"

After receiving a magic belt that allows him to tap into and channel the power of the band Foreigner:
"Oh yeah, man! can you feel dat?!?! I tells ya, I say these boys at the Garden once wit' Boston...and they kicked some ass!"

I believe the quote is, "It looks like my pool is tearin' ass around my backyard."

I too am a Carl fan. Fell in love with Hunger Force the first time I saw it. I have to agree that Carl is a centerpiece to the whole thing.

My favorite Carl moments:

After being possessed by the MC Pee Pants candy song to each a lot of jawbreakers and talkin' to Shake:
Shake: Is that why your mouth is all green?
Carl: Um.........eh..........No.

Carl finding Shake has plugged his new Shake Signal into Carl's light socket.
Carl: I found this cord plugged into my wall and saw your house over here glowin' like the friggin' sun. So I put two and two together and decided that you're really pissin' me off.

I also loved the scene from the episode "MC PEE PANTS", when Meatwad goes over to Carl's house and sees all the chocolate bunnies there.

Meatwad: "Where'd ya get all the bunnies at?"

Carl: "From down at the dumpster...I mean, warehouse."

Sunday at 10PM Eastern time. I usually skip the first hour, Home Videos and The Oblongs just aren't that funny to me. I haven't watched too much of it the past month. I hear that a new show by John K., who I think hasn't done anything funny since Nick kicked him offa Ren & Stimpy, has a new show on. I hope I haven't missed any new Aqua Teens or Sealabs.

Yeah, I heard new Ren and Stimpy episodes by John K. would be premiering on TNN's new adult-oriented animation block some time soon. And The Ripping Friends, his other show, has been on Adult Swim the last few weeks.

Mission Hill was pretty cool, Ripping Friends is "ehh", but nuthin' beats Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

Mission Hill kick ass too. I didn't know if I was going to like it or not, but I was able to identify with the characters so much and found the humor so clever that it became one of my favorite shows in that block. Those guys are just so damn good at nailing pop-culture to the wall that I can't help but love it. One of my favorite episodes is when The Real World moves into Mission Hill and Andy decides to get rid of them. When the annoying guy walks out into the street and gets hit by the bus, I almost pissed myself laughing when they started playing "Everybody Hurts."

I liked the first episode the most, as the little brother has his first taste of liquid courage. Fuckin' funny as hell!

Although it's not on Adult Swim, I also dig Cowboy Bebop.

Firefly ripped it off dammit!
