I voted for Paul in '88. I agreed the the whole "Willy Horton thing" should keep Dukakis out, but GW hates broccoli, he wouldn't have been strong enough to push the button.

Seriously, if you can't criticize the country, then your in a sucky country.
Who said you can't criticize your country? There is plenty of legitimate criticism that can be had, from the left and the right. But none of that entails having to burn the flag. And, for the record, I think flag burning is, and should be, constitutionally protected free speech, along with cross burnings, racial epithets, and whole lot of other things that, regardless of the right to say, still identify the speaker as a complete asshole. In fact, I sort of enjoy it when anti-war activists and liberals burn the flag. It reminds the rest of the country that these people are less about legitimate criticism and more about hating our country.

Ron Paul would have been the best candidate. No. Because Ron Paul is an anti-semitic bigot. But I might vote for Bob Barr.

I agree. I would never personally burn the flag, unless there was a federal law passed that said I couldn't.

He also opposes most government regulation, I doubt he'd get any anti-jew laws passed through congress anyway.

By that logic, because there are federal laws against child pornography you are fucking little boys and filming it. I dunno about that... I've read about a rebellion which was started because of a tea tax, but I haven't heard if the rebels also dealt with child pornography, one way or another. Therefor, just because you hate one law, doesn't mean you hate another one. (BTW, for the record I generally agree with Immanuel Kant that you should follow laws even if you hate them, and generally I agree with him that you should stop bad laws by making the lawmakers change them in a democratic/republic fashion.)

Why? Is there a law that require me to do that?
