I wouldnt even say the sum of their parts was as good as some people say.
I have the Jimmy Page solo album Outrider, and its bland shit that pretty much any guitarist could do.
The album Page did with Coverdale, was no different to most Whitesnake albums.
Plants solo career has been patchy at best.
John Paul Jones turned more to production I believe.
John Bonham has had the best solo career though!
