Killing him would totally go against the point of Batman Begins. I think the Joker should be killed by Gordon. Gordon is a cop and cops are allowed to kill at times without crossing the moral line that Batman killing anytime would cross.
On a side note I really hated the ending of No Man's Land. Joker kills a cop, Gordon's own wife, after mass killings and paralyzing Gordon's daughter and he doesn't kill him? At that point Gotham wasn't part of the US and subject to any laws. It was silly for the writers to set that situation up without killing the Joker.
Agreed! I hated the end of No Man's Land. Sarah was one of my favorite characters. What I remember most though is that I was relatively new to Message Boards at the time having just discovered the DCMBs and not yet knowing of this place. Well anyways I was so upset at the end of NML that I went right to the DCMBs and posted one of my first ever threads and it was titled "WHY DID THEY KILL SARAH?" I posted it on the day the issue came out and I innocently thought nothing of the thread title. Because quite honestly if you haven't read the fucking comic yet why would you go to a MB to talk about it. Well I was lambasted by all the douchebags like Lord of Chaos and Justin D. Peeler and JYD.......I then swore from that day on to always try and spoil comics for people.

That is how I became PJP.....the douchebag.

and, yeah, i hated the end of NML too - Gordon should have shot the joker after all that. ricockulous.

Oh, and I am taking the day off from work to see this opening day on IMAX. No work AND Batman? Yay!
