my next day high is just as high as my moments after high! i still can't stop thinking of the movie and various parts i made sweet love to.
my box office expectations are huge, as well, though im not sure if it can hit spidey-level. spidey had kid appeal, this movie i think was so "realistically" intense that it wouldn't resonate in the same fashion to younger fans. plus, the nearly 3-hour check in makes it much more difficult to keep the turnstiles running at the theaters.
to the point of "realism" in the film... i really, really, really loved that whole perspective. it was as if this was an actual movie with twists and plot turns and believable reactions to stuff, that just happened to feature a guy with a cape and another with some makeup. everyone's portrayal was just so goddamn spot on. i'm back in the theaters tomorrow, and i can't wait!!
