Firefly. Garfield Lynns Firefly. I've always thought he'd be great for a movie. Hell, his character worked in Hollywood pyrotechnics. Or, as G-Man (i think) mentioned, Mr.Zsasz would be AWESOME to, uh, flesh out.

I can't stand Mendez. She was horrible in Ghost Rider and barely adequate in her other roles. She was only good in Training Day cause of her titties and lack of dialogue.

Agreed. Mendez, like Jolie, doesn't really have any skills. She's just got really nice tits to look at.

Pro, after the great commercial and critical success of TDK, do you really want the series to take a step backwards and cast an actress solely because she's hot?

Mendez can be seductive and hot as hell, but she's got to be able to play crazy. Jolie is a bland actress...isn't she pregnant again? If Catwoman is to be in the next bat-movie, she should be played by someone without a lot of star power.

Mendez is an ugly bitch with a great body.

They need to cast a beautiful chick with a great body.

I nominate Briana Banks.

While she undoubtedly has talent, I don't think that Briana Banks has the talent everyone else has in mind, considering the role of Catwoman.

Perfect example was the movie Alexander, which for all its faults, was a serious film.
Granted the film was pretty awful all round, but her inability to do an accent other than Russian (thats what it sounded like), and totally wooden delivery of all her lines, made for probably the worst role in the whole film.
And for my money, to be singled out in a film that is all round badness, says something.

Quite frankly, when people talk about Jolie, they rarely talk about anything other than her breasts.
Scarlett Johannson and Jennifer Connelly have proved you can have big tits and still actually act!
have you seen The Prestige....it is one of my favorite movies. Nolan directed it and Johanson is in it.

Yes!

Moving away from Pro's love of the Halle Berry Catwoman movie, I liked all the little things in TDK that shows that Nolan and his brother actually did some comic book reading in writing the script. The Bat-Man militia was straight out of Millers DKR. The changing Joker origins concept that Moore introduced in the Killing Joke. The 'Joker Killings' assignations seemed really inspired by the very first Joker story. Like I said with Batman Begins, Nolan has found a good way to balance the comic book with an interesting movie world.

I dont think big tits are the be all and end all of Catwoman.
I think what they need is someone who can act, is sexy but can also play a tough character.
I dont think anyone would be surprised that my first choice would be Charlize Theron, but I can think of several other actresses who might be able to play a role like this:

Mila Jovovich
Christina Ricci
Anne Hathaway
Evangaline Lily
Eliza Dushka
Ali Larter
Jennifer Connelly
Scarlett Johansen

The bit when they found Brians body (the guy in the hockey pad Batsuit) reminded me of another story. I think it was called The many deaths of Batman, where bodies were turning up wearing bat costumes!

I do think that, with the more realistic approach of these films, that the sheer body count that the Joker was racking up made him a much more frightening foe than how he's previously been portrayed in adaptations. Given the fact that everything he did was plausible and not really that over the top adds to that. The whole bit where he's trying to turn average citizens into murders by threatening to blow up hospitals and ferries is also a bit reminiscent of The Killing Joke in the fact that 'it only takes one bad day'.

Was the guy's name Brian? Oh and read this

It's got people getting murdered that were dressed as Batman and heavily brainwashed to believe they were Batman. I think that's where Bruce Timm got the idea to use for Return of the Joker.

I hate to say it, but I think Jolie would be better than any of those choices.
