Who gives a shit what the Europeans think? Both McCain and Obama need someone strong with economics. Biden doesn't give him that.

I just stated my P.O.V., there's no need to be a douche about it. If you haven't noticed it, lots of non-Americans are interested in your presidential election. That does not mean we will (or can) force you to choose a candidate, but we may - politely - make suggestions.

Perhaps Biden isn't strong in economics, but then again, Obama will later choose a cabinet (if he becomes a president). At least Biden is an experienced politician, so the McCain-followers can't longer be critic about Obama's supposed "lack" of experience, especially in foreign policy which have been McCain's ace. (Before McCain said there was a border between Iraq and Pakistan, anyway.)

Obama needs someone with economic experience now in order to get elected. The economy is what people worry about most. With Iraq settling down, foreign policy isn't as high on the American agenda right now. Obama needs someone who can make his economic policies make sense to the American people.

It tends to put you immediately at a disadvantage and IMO is a sign of true weakness.
This is true both in politics and on the internet."
