I'm getting a Mossberg 500a pistol grip shotgun for forty bucks. I probably wouldn't use it for much more than home defense and to play around with it at the rifle range, but--for forty bucks--how could I say no? I love it when people with guns are hard up for cash.

Yeah, the Mossberg 500 is, quite possibly, the closet thing on earth to a generic shotgun. However, they aren't bad guns. For 40 bucks it's definitely worth snapping up.

The 500a is nice. Probably the most inexpensive of the Mossberg line is the Maverick, which retails for between $120-$250 and is a great bargain.

I mean, the lack of a sight blade would facilitate the whole self-decapitation process, though the muzzle is just too big to position against the hard palate as is customary.
