One error is on the last panel.

No one would show for the surprise party, unless they were there to kick his ass.

If Vance won I doubt he would hand over the Precididency to Trump.

And the spin is it’s the reporter who is the villain for exposing them. It wasn’t long ago that national security was a shared value between the parties, Trump and maga land have jettisoned that. We are in big trouble with these guys.

More Golden MICRONAUTS goodness, in these promotional ads. Run in advance of the first issue, possibly continuing to run during the early issues.

A Jackson Guice pin-up from 1983, that likely doubled as an ad.
I'd have tto dig through my issues to tell you which it appeared in.

Guice did MICRONAUTS 48-58, his first series for Marvel, that immediately propelled him to stardom.

Guice did a nice portfolio of pin-ups in MARVEL FANFARE 9, June-July 1983, that showed off his ability and talent with a number of Marvel characters, that I think helped him get better assignments beyond MICRONAUTS.

That MARVEL FANFARE issue came out the same month as MICRONAUTS 53, and Guice's run on the series ended with MICRONAUTS 58, May 1984.

A 4-issue X-MEN / MICRONAUTS miniseries began in Jan-April 1984

From the earlier Milk Duds contest ads, the Doctor Doom offering of the set.

As seen in CONAN THE BARBARIAN 92, Nov 1978.
And also in CONAN THE BARBARIAN 93, Dec 1978 issue. And other Marvel titles out in the same months.
Also JOHN CARTER OF MARS 18 and 19, the same months.
